LIVE HF RECORDING of a QRQ CW QSO between W5UXH & K6KX

Original audio file provided by W5UXH... what you are hearing on this video is the re-recorded audio file, using an AGC APP called VLeveL and an LV2 PLUGIN called "simple scope" to provide a comparison of the orignal(green) and the VLeveL'ed (RED) audio wave forms...

SCOPE - green on top is original audio from the w5uxh file,
SCOPE - RED on bottom is AFTER it is processed with VLeveL

"FYI: This recording was originally recorded by W5UXH as heard on the K3, in qso with K6KX, I forget if we were on 30M or 40M. It is possible we began on 30M and moved to 40M during the qso. The first signal heard is K6KX over the air, the second one is my sidetone from the K3. At some point we both went up to 75 WPM and it is obvious from our keying that we are not able to keep the fingers running that fast and we do not type ahead in the buffer at any speed, so lots if .. .. (double I) for errors with backup to fix the typo after the fact, and lots of words that do not flow easily from the fingers, so long spacing between characters in those words."

QSB was up and down quite a bit, and the HF background static was high, - the K3S 250 hertz cw filter was in use...

aa0hw's remote rig station was doing the recording using OBS...viewing the desktop and USB webcam screens you see on this video....his REMOTE RIG OPERATIONS - is using an ELECRAFT K3S with LINUX SOFTWARE apps performing all necessary functions for the REMOTE RIG TX and REMOTE RIG RX over ip on the LOCAL AREA WIRED ETHERNET NETWORK...A raspberry PI 2b is connected to the K3S's USB PORT allowing use of the K3S USB SOUND CARD(Raspberry PI2b) and the K3S USB SERIAL DATA PORT(FLrig) Audio over IP via ZITAnjBRIDGE from the Raspberry pi 2b::k3s interface to the remote laptop located in the OP's living room. FLrig's GUI and CONTROL was over SSH using (ssh -X) to minimize the CPU use on the FLRIg::PI - instead of having to use REALvnc to control the PI's FLRig APP...which puts strain on the old PI 2b's CPUs

W4DBV is using the conventional method of sending QRQ CW using a CW KEYBOARD, an MFJ 451, with his Yeasu FT 100d RIG...
