at the remote op's location is a RASPBERRY PI 4b CW KEYING setup... CW PADDLES, STRAIGHT KEY and KEYBOARD are used to send 4Khz VLF output out of the PI4's usb sound card's line output...to a class D audio amp...output of the class D audio amp goes to the input primary winding of a tesla coil transmit antenna, operating on the VLF band at 4Khz connected to the RIG's internal USB SOUND CARD is a pi2b, which only is used to send RIG audio back to the REMOTE OP over ip / LAN

by the RIG in the RIG ROOM is a RX ferrite rod loopstick antenna that is tuned to 4Khz for max signal strength...by adding a parallel CAP of the correct value to resonate at 4Khz.... output of the antenna goes to the input of another audio amp..... output of this audio amp goes to the input of an AUDIO DERIVED CW KEYING SWITCH circuit that KEYs the RIG's CW JACK

SETUP:

a rapsberry pi 4b is sending CW directly at 4Khz - outputs to a CLASS D audio amp...output of AMP goes to input of a bipolar tesla coil TX antenna with a large ferrite core... sends the 4Khz CW to another room in the house about 10 feet away to a pi2b, which has a smaller ferrite rod loopstick antenna connected to its usb mic adapter input.... the software has an AUDIO DERIVED CW KEYING SWITCH that takes the 4Khz signal and converts it to a 690hz CW signal that keys the RIG via AFCW mode... another tone is also sent to the RIG's line input, a PTT tone at 5555hz that's only purpose is to activate the RIG's TX VOX PTT circuit to get it into the TX MODE before the CW tone arrives to its line input... the RIG has an internal USB SOUND CARD that the pi2b is also using as its sound card

HERE IS A QRQ CW EXAMPLE of the same setup here:
