I really like your cw sending software choice in FLdigi !
Have you tried to use FLdigi in afcw a2 cw mode yet ? which will inject FLDigi's
beautiful raised cosine waveform cw as your transmitted edge shape. I am amazed
at how much better on the scope and by ear my icom 735 can send cw now using
AFCW a2 cw mode using FLdigi. I use about 7 to 8 ms rise/fall time and I prefer the BLACKMAN raised cosine version for the waveform out...
Best wishes for your beginning journey in pursing qrq cw. There is a lot of material on the site and more and more as we go for doing just that...
