IN sidechain mode, the gate will not let the OSCILLATOR MONO SINE WAVE pass through its upper port

however, when keyed by another CW KEYBOARD, i e a very harsh square wave CW KEYER's audio output with zero rise/fall time... the SIDECHAIN GATE MONO regenerates the original CW NOTE and creates a pure sine wave, raised cosine edged shaped, 'cloned' CW NOTE

you can adjust the SIDECHAIN GATE MONO controls to shape the edges
