I was able to use the W4MQ remote transceiver in, I think, Virginia to listen in on the 7024 Saturday 1:30 CST QRQ net. It was a lot of fun but it was hard copy for me. The CW does comes over the internet kind of 'mushy'. I was going to check in but I chickened out ( no pun intended for CFO members!) given that I could only send at maximum of 40 wpm over the remote transceiver. While I know you mainlanders are putting up with horrific weather, I still would trade a little snow just to hear 40 meter stations again out here on Maui. I have my TenTec Omni D and keyboard ready for action for when the sunspots return. Maybe we could set up a 20, 15, or 10 meter QRQ net when the spots return?
