The sunspots have been scarce so not much chance for me out here on Maui to get on the air practice with QRQ cw. I have been relying on Rufz to get my speed up but it would be nice to get some on the air practice. Are there any QRQ nets out there? If not, maybe we could start planning ahead for the new sunspot cycle by getting some operators together who would be interested in starting a net.

You might be able to use : www.w4mq.com for an internet remote connection to his online transceiver. It is free to HAM's with registration of your callsign. I have used it many times of the past few years to join nets while I was at work on lunch breaks. It works very well for cw.

I have used that remote station to keep a sked with N6SL in Florida but at higher speeds, I get 'breaks' in the cw that I guess are generated by the computer. I might give it a try again. Are there any QRQ nets active?
