These fun code practice records from 1959 were donated to me by a local friend of mine. I was shocked (not really) to find that they instruct you to actually write down dots and dashes (the code elements) along with the associated letters. This is WRONG!

Excellent video and audio Brett, fantastic recording and a lot of fun to see and hear these classic albums in action ! Thanks ! Very well done sir...
I found it very interesting that they chose such a high pitch for introducing morse code audio tones to brand new cw recruits. The speaking voice of the narrator was very good.
Great Vid Brett !
Thanks again for your efforts in producing and editing...

Thanks Chuck, you may want to have a look at some of my other videos relating to science and technology. I think there are around 31 or so in my ki4dbk channel. I may have a new one this weekend or so, which shows me checking the accuracy of the time base of my HP frequency counter (with nixie tubes) against WWV using an HF rig.
Yep! That's the way I unfortunately learned... It's been 30 years and still trying to forget about it.... Learned it in the boyscouts. Like they say, it takes a lot longer to relearn than learn properly the first time.
