enGage a Gate, to get rid of QRQ CW, NARROW BAND, high "q", ringing on CW RECEIVE SIGNAL - LiVE DEMO

brief demo using a simple GATE plugin, to STOP QRQ CW Ringing on the RECEIVE SIGNAL

gate is placed after antenna input, and before final CW AUDIO bandpass filter

GATE used in this example is from CALF STUDIO GEAR

another example of STOPPING HIGH "Q" ringing from messing up QRQ CW COPY by using a GATE & LIMITER

with high Q QRQ CW ringing on the RX SIGNAL, due to high "Q", tuned, resonant 1khz ferrite TX/RX antennas, using a GATE and LIMITER virtually eliminates all ringing...A final bandpass filter cleans up the processing audio artifacts from the GATE & LIMITER

NOTE: in addition to ringing form HIGH "Q" tuned, 1KHZ, FERRITE ROD LOOPSTICK Tx/Rx antennas, the rise/fall time of the CW ELEMENTS are greatly increased by the HIGH 'Q'ness of the antennas... @40ms rise/fall time... which is WAY TOO MUCH ! also, due to this excessive, long, rise/fall time, is why on the GREEN SCOPE VIEW, the dits are about 1/2 the signal strength of the DAHs

SINE WAVE to SQUARE WAVE back to SINE WAVE converter - for QRQ CW that has too much ringing/too soft

Here is another example of CUTTING DOWN  HIGH q RINGING on QRQ CW rx signals:

brief demo of using a LiMiTER and GATE followed by a narrow bandpass filter & mixer to exsect HIGH Q RINGING and CW ELEMENT ELONGATION on RECEIVE QRQ CW SIGNALS (note: only works on stable non-fading signals) main target = THROUGH THE EARTH CAVE TO SURFACE radio comms via ELF/VLF using HIGH Q , narrow band, TUNED, ferrite rod loopstick TX/RX antennas using NEAR FIELD MAGNETic propogation

Here is a QRQ CW example, 111 wpm,  where the GATE and LIMITER are quite useful to help improve the sound of the final CW OUTPUT from the lo-mixer  from a RX ULF BAND CW SIGNAL at 2.8Khz:

ULF BAND, 2.8 Khz QRQ CW signal from a tuned, high Q, RX ferrite rod loopstick antenna, hooked up to a laptop's sound card's LINE INPUT

SOUND CARD SDR modules used, HILBERT CELL, FILT, LO-MIXER from RECRI KEYER https://github.com/recri/keyer

GATE & MIXER are from CALF STUDIO GEAR: https://calf-studio-gear.org/
