Rohde's AM Detector 33.7Khz - DIY - AM Receiver - LIVE DEMO - both CW & HD VOICE audio

demo of using the Rohde's AM Detector to make a homebrew AM RECEIVER

http://www.pan-tex.net/usr/r/receivers/elrpicamdetect.htm

demodulating a 33.7Khz AM Signal from an IP STREAM via the wavpack codec encoder/decoder on a pc soundcard capable of 96Khz sample rate (both wideband HD VOICE and Morse Code Audio are tested)

- receive 33.7Khz LF RF signal over IP via Gstreamer RTP/udp pipeline(wavpack encoder/decoder)

- send output of RX Gstreamer to the soundcard headphone jack output

- headphone jack connects to the Rohde's AM Detector input

- output of Rohde's goes to input of a CLASS D 30 watt audio amp - output of AUDIO AMP goes to a speaker

Rohde's AM Detector at 33.7Khz LF BAND decoding a LIVE AM modulated CW signal over ip

demo of using the Rohde's AM Detector to make a homebrew VLF CW AM RECEIVER

http://www.pan-tex.net/usr/r/receivers/elrpicamdetect.htm

demodulating a 33.7Khz AM CW Signal from a Gstreamer LF/RF over IP STREAM on a pc soundcard capable of 96Khz sample rate - receive 33.7Khz LF RF signal over IP via Gstreamer PIPELINE - send output of RX Gstreamer to the soundcard USB soundcard LINE output - USB soundcard LINE OUTPUT connects to the Rohde's AM Detector INPUT - output of Rohde's goes to input of a CLASS D 30 watt audio amp - output of AUDIO AMP goes to a speaker

Rohde's AM Detector demod output uses a PI config LOW PASS FILTER to attenuate the 33.7Khz carrier output from the Rohde's AM Detector

Here is another example of using the Rohde's AM Detector to build a VLF CW AM Transceiver for Mumble iCW

1st assembly test for the iCW 16Khz AM Transceiver project - Receiver section

Mumble client receives a 16Khz AM CW signal - mumble client output goes to a Rohde's AM Detector - Rohde's AM Detector output goes through a Low Pass Filter to reduce the 16Khz signal from the Rohde's demodulated 658hz CW AUDIO - output of the Low pass filter goes to the input of a CLASS D 30 watt audio amp - output of the audio amp goes to a 658hz series resonant LC filter that reduces the 16Khz AM carrier signal by at least 30 db before it goes to a Radio Shack Communications Speaker
