Hi Chuk,

He was born in 1921, self-made  in electronics, radio trasmitters and all around the world of radio, all was home made, with few resources, I remember those good old days!

He was my first teacher and friend for my Ham Radio adventure  and cw learning at normal speed, with straight key, after I started my job of radio operator on merchant vessel and we  were often in contact sea- land in moderate speed cw mode.

When he died in the 1975 I got his own call/sign and I still use it now with great affection, nothing other than this.  Regards, yr friend Sal,i8cee
