YPLog has one of the best qrq cw keyboards for sending cw at very high speeds (over 70 wpm). Its audio output however, could use some filtering. This video shows 2 different types of audio filters used with YPLog when sending at QRQ levels, a cw text file.
1. first filter is a cw regenerative filter that recreates the original incoming cw notes from REAPER's native apps..
- audio in threshold to trigger a midi note out via REAGATE
- a cw audio note synthesizer keyed by…

CWirc is a LInux plugin for Xchat that was originally designed to send morse code over an irc channel.
This video shows how to adapt the CWirc plugin in order to use it to send cw with your PADDLES, BUG OR KEY by "keying" the CWirc APP, and send morse code audio tones to your computer sound card. You can use if to key your RIG(with an audio derived…Continue
Short competition (recorded live) between 2 very good qrq cw software keyboards - CwType verses YPLog -
sending a short text file from NASA NEWS, at 75 wpm. Timing is the main criteria since both keyboards are keying sineCW, a software code practice oscillator vst plugin, so they will "sound" the same for the most part, but how the cw is coded for precise morse [ element / spaces ] timing in software at qrq levels will be slightly different. YPLog has many adjustments…Continue

Every computer MICROPHONE INPUT jack, has its own voltage and current that is already built inside it, in order to power Electret Mics. By modifying a very simple and low voltage square wave generator circuit to make use of this MIC VOLTAGE, a very simple and NO BATTERY NEEDED - EVER - code practice oscillator can be made using this circuit, the MIC JACK, and an AUDIO to MIDI technique to regenerate the original input…Continue
This is an experiment in using free VST PLUGINS to create a MIDI KEYED morse code sine wave oscillator(software). It is "keyed" by MIDI INPUT. You can also use this midi setup to regenerate morse code audio tones from another source. FLdigi is used in the video for this purpose. Using MIDI to key a software CPO, shows great promise, since the accuracy of midi input keying is far superior to using a SERIAL PORT for this kind of a setup, in regards to accurate timing. Even at extreme QRQ CW…Continue
This video demonstrates an advanced method for qrq training with MIXXX using FREE VST PLUGINS to regenerate the exact incoming cw audio tones and recreate them with a FREE software CPO called BIPPER, - filter the final audio product - for audiophile quality qrq cw morse code audio tones. As an example, an audio mp3 file was made using FABIAN's ebook2cw program and then loaded into MIXXX for playback. The unique features on MIXXX make it a versatile training tool for qrq cw training;…Continue
