Every computer MICROPHONE INPUT jack, has its own voltage and current that is already built inside it, in order to power Electret Mics. By modifying a very simple and low voltage square wave generator circuit to make use of this MIC VOLTAGE, a very simple and NO BATTERY NEEDED - EVER - code practice oscillator can be made using this circuit, the MIC JACK, and an AUDIO to MIDI technique to regenerate the original input…

This is an experiment in using free VST PLUGINS to create a MIDI KEYED morse code sine wave oscillator(software). It is "keyed" by MIDI INPUT. You can also use this midi setup to regenerate morse code audio tones from another source. FLdigi is used in the video for this purpose. Using MIDI to key a software CPO, shows great promise, since the accuracy of midi input keying is far superior to using a SERIAL PORT for this kind of a setup, in regards to accurate timing. Even at extreme QRQ CW…

EhoCW has just released a new version which allows for multiple instances and the option of using WASAPI AUDIO. WASAPI AUDIO DRIVERS are almost as good as ASIO DRIVERS in regards to cw timing accuracy and low latency. Only EhoCW has the option to select WASAPI SOUND CARDS, no other software cw keyer was found that had this feature. Two instances of EhoCW are used and setup exactly the same to send iambic morse code to two different sound cards - one instance to…

This video will demonstrate a free software setup to get rid of the audio distortion you hear when listening to any of the WEBSDR websites, since they have bandwidth limits and have to use low sample rates for their audio streaming.
This same method will also help to clean up your own RIGs audio, or even an mp3 or wave file of some morse code recording.
HERE IS THE LINK TO THE VIDEO:
